Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Economic, Finance Research and Review (JEFRR), ensure that each item on this checklist has been completed. Adhering to these guidelines will streamline the editorial process and maximize your chances for a successful peer review.

Manuscript Readiness

  •  Originality: The submission has not been published previously or is under consideration elsewhere. All sources and data are appropriately cited to avoid plagiarism.

  •  Scope and Format: The manuscript fits the thematic scope of JEFRR and follows all format instructions (see Author Guidelines).

  •  Language Quality: The text is clearly written in professional English and has been thoroughly proofread for grammar and spelling.

  •  Title Page: Includes a concise, descriptive title (max 15 words); full names, institutional affiliations, and countries for all authors; and full contact details for the corresponding author.

  •  Abstract and Keywords: Contains an informative abstract (≤250 words), 3–6 relevant keywords, and up to three accurate JEL classification codes.

  •  Sections: The manuscript is organized as per journal recommendations: Introduction, Literature Review, Data & Methodology, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References, and (if appropriate) Acknowledgments.

  •  Tables and Figures: All tables and figures are numbered, titled, embedded in the main text, and also provided in separate files if instructed. Each is referenced in the text.

  •  References: References are recent, complete, consistently formatted (APA, Harvard, or Chicago), and primarily from recognized international literature.

Ethical Compliance

  •  Conflict of Interest: All relevant financial or personal relationships are disclosed.

  •  Ethical Statements: Required disclosures (ethical approval, informed consent, data availability) are included when applicable.

  •  Plagiarism Check: The manuscript has been screened with plagiarism detection software; text similarity does not exceed 15%.

Authorship and Contributions

  •  Authorship Order: All contributors meet authorship criteria and have approved the final manuscript and its submission.

  •  Acknowledgments: Contributions not qualifying for authorship (technical, funding, institutional support) are properly acknowledged with permission.

Supporting Documents

  •  Cover Letter: A cover letter is prepared, summarizing the manuscript’s significance, confirming its originality, and indicating any special issues (if applicable).

  •  Supplementary Files: Additional data, code, or appendices (if any) are included as separate, properly labeled files.

  •  Copyright/Licensing Forms: Signature and completion of all required forms as indicated by the journal instructions.

Submission Details

  •  Submission Platform: All files are in required formats (Word or PDF) and uploaded via the online portal or submitted according to JEFRR instructions.

  •  Metadata: All submission metadata (title, abstract, keywords, author details) are correctly entered into the submission system.

  •  Special Issue Identification: If submitting to a special issue, this is clearly noted in the cover letter and on the submission form.

Complete this checklist prior to submission. Incomplete or non-compliant manuscripts may be delayed or returned for correction.
